Authors' Guidelines for The Journal of Global Merit Management (JoGMM)
The Journal of Global Merit Management (JoGMM) is committed to publishing high-quality, impactful, and applied academic research in global management. To ensure a smooth submission and publication process, we encourage all authors to carefully review the guidelines below before submitting their manuscript.
1. Policies and Scope
JoGMM accepts original manuscripts that have not been previously published or are not under consideration elsewhere. Submissions should fall within the journal's scope, including but not limited to:

All submitted manuscripts will undergo a rigorous double-masked peer review process.
2. Types of Submissions
JoGMM welcomes the following types of submissions:

Original Research Articles: Presenting new empirical or theoretical research that has not been previously published. Recommended length: 6,000 – 8,000 words (including abstract, keywords, references, tables, and figures).

Literature Reviews: Providing a systematic synthesis and analysis of published research on a specific topic. Recommended length: 5,000 – 7,000 words.

Case Studies: In-depth analyses of a specific situation, organization, or phenomenon, offering practical insights and lessons learned. Recommended length: 4,000 – 6,000 words.

Practical Articles/Essays: Sharing experiences, perspectives, or proposals on management issues, particularly useful for practitioners and managers. Recommended length: 3,000 – 5,000 words.
3. Manuscript Preparation
3.1. General Formatting

Language: English (either British or American, maintain consistency throughout).

File Format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx).

Font: Times New Roman, size 12.

Line Spacing: 1.5 lines.

Margins: 2.54 cm (1 inch) on all sides.

Page Numbering: Continuous page numbering at the bottom right corner.
3.2. Manuscript Structure
Manuscripts should be organized as follows (applicable to original research articles; other article types may adapt as appropriate):

Title Page (Separate file for anonymous review):

Article title (concise, reflective of content).

Full name(s) of author(s) and affiliation(s) (e.g., DHV, or its affiliated units).

Email address of the corresponding author.

Funding information or acknowledgements (if applicable).

Main Manuscript (No author information):

Article Title: Repeat the article title.

Abstract: Maximum 250 words, summarizing the objectives, methodology, main results, and conclusions.

Keywords: 3-5 keywords, separated by commas.

Introduction: Background, research context, objectives, and research questions.

Literature Review: Theoretical foundation and relevant published studies.

Methodology: Detailed description of research design, participants/sample, instruments, data collection, and analysis procedures.

Results: Clear and objective presentation of findings (use tables and figures where necessary).

Discussion: Interpret results, compare them with previous studies, and discuss theoretical and practical implications.

Conclusion: Summary of key findings, limitations of the study, and suggestions for future research.

Ethical Statement: Confirmation of adherence to moral principles (if applicable).

Conflict of Interest Statement: Declaration of any potential conflicts of interest.

Author Contributions (if multiple authors): Describe the specific roles of each author.

References: Use APA Style (7th edition) for all in-text citations and the reference list. Please ensure all in-text citations are in the reference list and vice versa.

3.3. Tables and Figures

All tables and figures must be numbered sequentially (e.g., Table 1, Figure 1) and have clear titles.

Place tables and figures directly within the text where they are first referenced, not at the end of the manuscript.

4. Submission Process
JoGMM utilizes an online submission system to manage all manuscripts. Authors must create an account on the system and follow the step-by-step instructions.

Register an account: Visit the JoGMM website and register as an author.

Log in and start a new submission: Follow the system's steps.

Upload manuscript files:

Upload the Title Page as a separate file.
-
Upload the Main Manuscript without any author information to ensure anonymous peer review.

Upload any supplementary files (e.g., appendices, datasets).

Review and confirm: Carefully review all uploaded information and files before confirming the submission.
5. Publication Policies

Open Access: JoGMM is an open-access journal that allows free and unrestricted access to all published articles.

Copyright: Authors retain copyright to their work and agree to license their articles under the Creative Commons Attribution International 4.0 (CC-BY) license.

Publication Fees: JoGMM does not charge authors Article Processing Charges (APCs) or any other fees.
6. Publication Ethics
JoGMM adheres to the highest ethical standards in publishing. Authors are required to:
